Fun day with Lorraine today, sketching people and then @neshscornerdeli at @dandenongmarket today. Great Panini too. Bit of a trial for future Sketch Trips. I think I could plan more of these. When you tour places , it’s not always appropriate to stop and sketch, In The halls of the Vatican museum the surge would push me forward and the tour guide would get upset so at home I drew the scene of Christopher Columbus being guided by Neptune. I thought Chris was making a rude sign but apparently it’s a compass of the times! So much to see such short time. Not quite same view as Frankston hospital, this one in Rosebud Ed short stay. BUT staff at Rosebud were FANTASTIC. Lots of familiar equipment from my working days! Coastal Sketchers Melbourne Urban Sketchers Urban Sketchers Australia My view at Rosebud hospital, not quite as nice but service was fantastic. When you have a view like this gotta draw it. From new Frankston hospital towards Melbourne. Macedon ranges in background. @melbourneurbansketchers @urbansketchers @melbourneurbansketchers Raj my Uber driver. He’s From Afghanistan. Told me a fellow defence person in Afghanistan also drew all the time. Sharing your art can be very satisfying. More Barista cups. Here a nice English barista at @tartebakery in Burleigh Heads. Great coffee and cinnamon scroll made on premises, I enjoyed drawing the cup I drew on the wrapper with one of the waitresses on this one for her. And a prize winning rooster which as I said to T NO 4 chooks are enough. Kelly kindly gave me a pen and some of the sketches I finished with in the rain @showwhitsunday Reptile show taught T a lot about snakes whilst I drew him. Then some food from the market, biscuits, muffins or roast roll with gravy. Which would you try? What do you think I had? @showwhitsunday @proserpinecommunitymarket
